What is the rough/expected cut-off percentage for qualifying AIPMT prelims?

CBSE PMT Previous Year Cut offs...

Here's the List Of Previous Cut off according to the Year.

In Prelim Exam of PMT in the
year 2007 it was 285 marks(out off 600).
year 2008 it was 188 marks(It was too hard)
year 2009 it was 300 marks(out off 600)
year 2010 it was 111-168 for each section i.e you can say 360 marks(out of 600)

And Now lets see how will be the 2011 Pmt paper??

*Note

• The above cut off is not Exact, there can be some fluctuations in the points.
  
• The above cut off is Not for SC/ST, its only for General. Cut off for SC/ST is too less.For Example
  
• From 2010 cut off point of view For SC 264(88*3) was the Cut off

hi...

no one can predict the cut off marks of any entrance prior of the entrance..
however you may get an idea of cut off marks from the previous year cutoff marks......

year 2007 it was 285 marks
year 2008 it was 188 marks
year 2009 it was 300 marks
year 2010 it was 360 marks

IN AIPMT if you do correctly 55% or 50% of question than you qualify for main exam .

Yes you can crack prelims usually cut-off for prelims goes aroung 50% to 55%. so start preparing for AIPMT mains.

sir i have scored 458 marks in aipmt preliminary can i crack aipmt

expectet cutoff of aipmt prelims.. 2011????????????

but now this year ie. for 2011 the total marks are 800 .so what "ll be the cut off for obc..

i m getting around 360 -370........ is these r enough to get to the mains.

I think it will be about 45%. Some candidates must have taken risk assuming that negative marking will be in ratio of 1:4 whereas actually it was 1:3/

Some coaching classes have advised their students to take risk assuming the ratio of 1:4 as mentioned in AIPMT booklet..

In case of 1:3 , risk is more.

so strategy must have backfired.

Hope the final exam will be of objective type only and the organisers will not differ from the pattern suggest in AIPMT booklet issued by them only.


It is ridiculous that AIPMT has come out with message that each question carries 4 marks where as it was clearly mentioned in question paper that each question carries 3 marks.

The cutoff marks are as follows:

I think this is in the range of 300-350 for general candidates....but in 2007 and 2008 it is very less compare to last year ..

Cut off of any competative exam depend on the hihest marks obtained by candidate.

But you can expect that it goes upto 60%.

aipmt 2011 cut off will be more than 2010. I think it will be 55%.
