Re: Which fields I can join after completing MBBS?
After completing MBBS & internship, you can either go for the public service commission exam and become a medical officer/civil assistant surgeon in the government's peripheral health setup, or you can do postgraduation in each of the fields you studied in MBBS like Non-clinical: anatomy, physiology, biochemistry etc, Clinical: Ophthalmology, ENT, Obs-Gynae etc. After this you can either join a hospital, start your private practice, or superspecialize in fields like Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery, Gastroenterology etc. Superspecialization allows greater chance of being at a position of repute in private health setups.

Dear,
After completing MBBS, you can do post graduation in MS. OR After completing MBBS, you can fight for the public service commission exam and become a medical officer / civil assistant surgeon in the government. OR After completing MBBS, you can join a hospital and start practice. Good Luck |
