FTTI stands for Film and Television Institute of India.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the FTTI entrance exam.

The eligibility for FTTI Acting course are following:-

-The candidate must have a graduation degree with minimum 40% marks in any stream from a recognized university.

-The candidate must have studied Physics as a compulsory Subject in 12th class.

-The selection process for the admission in FTTI involves

FTII i.e. Film and Television institute of India, Pune offers various courses of duration 1 year, 2 years and 3 years. One among them is PG diploma in acting which has 2 years of duration. Pre requisite qualification for pursing PG diploma in Acting is any bachelor's degree.

As MBBS degree is bachelor degree after 12th, therefore you are definitely eligible for writing FTII entrance exam. Also note there is no bar on age limits. At any age you can apply for this course through entrance exam.

Regarding reservation of seats, 15% of total seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% are reserved for ST and 27% are reserved for OBC under Non Creamy layer.
Apart from this, 3% of total seats are also reserved for persons with disabilities.

for admission to Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Acting and Feature Film Screenplay Writing : You should have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University.

for admission to audiography course :You should have a Bachelor's degree with Physics as a subject at Sr Sec(10+2)level.

for admission to Art Direction and Production Design: You should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture/ Painting/ Applied Art/ Sculpture/ Interior Design or related fields in Fine Arts or Equivalent Diploma.

for admission to Animation and Computer Graphics: You should have done 10+2 or Diploma from fine arts colleges.
