Candidate seeking for M.Sc in Physics from Panjab University-Department of Physics, must have completed the B.Sc [Pass or Hons] with 50% marks [45% for SC/ST] from Punjab University or any other recognized University with Physics and Maths as elective subjects. Admission is based on entrance exam conducted by Punjab University.

The Test comprises of 75 objective type questions. The duration of the test is of one hour and thirty minutes. The questions are based on latest syllabus prescribed for Bachelors degree of Panjab University in the relevant subject.
