Future and scope of BAMS course in India?


I have written NEET 2017 and got very less marks so, I can not get admission in MBBS course. Now I have decided to study BAMS course but worried about future. Please tell me future and scope of BAMS in India?

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) is a 5 years graduation level course. Demand for the course is increasing day by day. Allopathic treatment has side effects where as Ayurvedic do not have any side effects and in a natural methods the treatment is given.

The eligibility required is the candidate should minimum 50% in 12th class in PCB subjects from any recognised board. The candidate should have qualified in the NEET exam. Based on the state and university the cut off marks varies.

Scope of BAMS:
- Ayurvedic doctor
- Healthcare communities
- Education institutions
- Hospitals
- Insurance companies
- Life science industry
- Pharmacy industry
- Category manager
- Sales representative
- Lecturer/ Teacher
- Business development officer and many more

BAMS is a graduate degree in Ayurveda. This is a 5 year 6 month course which include one year internship .

Scope of BAMS
>> If you complete BAMS degree you will be recognized as a doctor in Ayurveda and can practice either privately or in Ayurveda centers.
>> BAMS graduates also have a scope in teaching line.
