Dear friend BAMS stand for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery.
B.A.M.S. is a medical degree in India, conferred to those who have studied the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional ayurveda. The degree is of five and half years duration, including 1 year internship after passing 12th Science. Exams are held after every professional/ 18 months once or one and half year. The person having a BAMS degree can practice anywhere in India. The scope in future:- A BAMS doctor can work in following area like:- - General Practice - Research - Hospital and Healthcare Administration - Teaching - Health Supervisor (As per High courts decision a BAMS doctor can work for the post of Health Supervisor) All the best........ |

The acronym BAMS stands for the Bachelor of Ayurveda ,Medicine and surgery . It is a medical degree in India and is of duration of five years and half years including one year internship after passing 10+2 science. The main advantage of doing BAMS is that you can practice anywhere in India.In simple words the future after BAMS is as below: After completing this bachelor's degree you can do : 1.General practice 2.Research 3.Teaching 4.Hospital and Health Administration. 5.Health Supervisor. BAMS stands for Bachelor in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. This course is of 4.5 years duration and 1 year Internship. SCOPE BAMS is the study of Ayurveda basically and for knowing the past medical heritage. Chances of Job are very less as there are less jobs in India. Many BAMS graduates run Hospitals and have their own clinic in various part of country. I hope the above information is useful |

I got 141 mrks in mhcet in 2014 I want to do mbbs but i dont think this is possible this year.
so my parents gave me an option to do "BAMS". should i drop this year for preparation of mbbs for next year or do BAMS??? |
