FX school, Mumbai - is it good for film making course? how are the placements at FX School?
Hiya, I am an international student and want to go to india for a diploma in Film Making. FX school's digital film making looked good for me. But you know you cannot trust any organisation based on their website. All of them say they are the best. I heard Craft and Name sux big time. I know whistlewoods is good but cannot afford So please give me some idea about the quality of FX school so that I can take my decisions. or please advice any other film school

Re: FX school, Mumbai - is it good for film making course? how are the placements at FX School?
FX School has earned the endorsement of some of the biggest and best names in the industry, including Sippy Productions, Ram Gopal Varma, and Mahesh Bhatt.
FX School's students and faculty have completed a full length feature film with Ram Gopal Varma and top stars in a flat 33 days from the day shooting started to the day the film will release in theatres (March 18, 2011). This is a revolution in film-making on many counts: 1. Speed (shoot was completed in less than 5 days!) 2. Workflow used to deliver in such a tight timeline 3. Budget -- Rs. 4.7 lakhs 4. Equipment -- entire film was shot using the latest digital technology 5. No lighting equipment -- shot entirely in available light No other institute in India has ever been able to execute such a project. Watch the film when it's released to judge the quality for yourself. So far, FX School's placement record has been an unblemished 100%. Most students are recruited prior to their course completion and, on average, have 2 to 3 offers. |

Fx School is one of the finest institutes when it comes to Film making. It provides you with hands on practical knowledge about your areas of interest. Many of the students have worked in Ram Gopal Verma's movies. FX School offers many courses which are designed to help you discover your true potential. The faculty is a renowned one and very helpful when it comes to solving your queries. I was a student and I am very thankful to FX School as it made me realise where my true talent lies!
