You can Go for Railways, can go for PSU's and can go for UPSC Exams. Being an Engineering student you have lot of Options in Government side. Computer Science Engineering is a Vast Branch finds all its position in Different jobs. EEE Student can opt for Railways, Government jobs under PSU's like SAIL,NTPC,ONGC, etc But to appear for PSU you need to have Specific Criteria scheme like you should have 60 to 65% in Graduation.

Details about UPSC Exam:-
UPSC Includes lot of Exams like NDA, CDSE, SCRA, CSAT, IES and many more.
Taking CSAT as concern Civil Service Aptitude Test Or Civil Service Exam is conducted by upsc Government every year. Its having Two exam one is prelims and 2nd one is Mains(you are eligible for this Exam if and only if you clear prelims.) For Eligibility you must be A bachelor's Degree from Recognized university. Age limits are 21 to 30 years of age.

Details about PSU's:-
There are Lot of EEE Jobs for Students persuing EEE as a stream.Students can Work in Public cum Government jobs which is under PSU's i.e Public Sector Undertaking.Government jobs are ONGC, BHEL, ISRO, BSNL, EBL etc

Details about Railways :-
You can apply for different posts under Railways like Section Engineer, Junior Engineering , Assistant Station Manager and D M Suprientendent. For this you need to write RRB Exam conducted by Each state, even Karnataka railway board conducts RRB Exam.

dear friend,

for computer science department have many scope in govt sector. but in private sector their is huge scope.

they can join in the given below govt sector

1.rail.

2.PWC.

3.NTPC.

4.DVC.

5.ONGC.

6.BHEL.

7.ONGC.

8.BSNL

9.BANK JOB

10.FCI

etc.

but private sector have better scope than govt sector. There are so many private company. Like TCS, CTS ,IBM ,HP ,L&T ,SATYAM etc.

There are many government jobs for BTech CSE students. Today every government institution provides its information and notification through its website. CSE engineers are required to manage the website related operations of these institutions. CSE graduates are hired as computer operator, data entry operator, web designer, web developer.

Many govt. institutions hire CSE engineers for website designing. Some public sector institutions where CSE engineers are hired are-

* BSNL
* VSNL
* MTNL
* DRDO
* ISRO
* NREGA

You can also work as lecturer in govt. engineering colleges but for that you have to do at least M. Tech. You can also give IES exam conducted by UPSC but you will have to choose any one of the following branches in which you want to give IES exam-

* Mechanical
* Civil
* Electrical
* Electronics and Telecommunication

Since your branch is CSE, E&T will be most relevant branch for you to choose.

There are many government jobs available for the the CS students .To get a government jobs you can go for PSU's companies which have their own exams and also you can can go for UPSC Exams.You can apply for ::

CIVIL SERVICE ::You can apply for IPS,IAS,IFS and many post through the civil service exam.It is conducted by UPSC and exams is done in three phases that are preliminary ,main and the interview exam.

Eligibility ::

You must be graduate with any stream from a recognized college.

You age should be between 21 to 30 years if you fall into general category .There is
relation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits .

35 year is upper age limit for SC/ST
33 years is upper age limit for OBC

CDSE:It is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select students for the officer fields in ARMY,NAVY and air force .

Eligibility ::

I.M.A. ::You must have got degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
You must be between 19-24 years

Officers Training Academy(OTA)You must have got degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
You must be between 19-25 years

Indian Naval Academy : You must have got degree of a recognised University or equivalent and physics and mathematics in class 12th .
You must be between 19-22 years

Air Force Academy : You must have got degree of a recognised University or equivalent and physics and mathematics in class 12th .
You must be between 19-23 years

You can also apply for AFCAT examination which is conducted by Air force .
