sir, i am b.tech.i am color blind person.may i will selected for ies ,bhel airport authority of india etc

I am very sorry to inform you that medical fitness is an essential element for selection.So you will not be selected by the BHEL.

dear friend,

As you are interested in IES, BHEL,Airport Authority, so i would like to inform you that there are no any tough physical fitness test after selecting in these jobs.

But in IES & Airport Authority you have to be physically fit, & color blindness is not allowed.

So, you should try for other companies & PSU also.

Sir, I am colourblind but i want to know that there is chance to get Government service for
colourblind person,because i am preparing for the same if yes so what kind of services.
I am mentioning you some services, kindly say for which i am eligible

a) IAS
b) Income Tax Inspector
c) Excise Inspector
d) Accounts Officer
e) Assistant in Central Secretariat

As an American who is legally blind, I can assure you there are government positions and one who is color blind is far more likely to receive a position than others with limited to no vision at all. The ADA stipulates there cannot be discrimination, however if the position calls for visual certainty then it must be listed as a bonfied job qualification. Example if you are scanning at the airport, where does colorblindness affect the job, on the other hand radar screeners who work in the airport tower for landing services must be able to see almost perfectly.

The American Aviation sets the rules and the requirement is for safety of many passengers and citizens on the ground. There are other job functions you can engage in but I would not count on getting a job that easily, with more than 16 million citizens out of work, and most government jobs are given first to veterans before anyone else.

Yes you are eligible. but keep in mind it comes to matter in uniform services such as IPS.

There is no government jobs for those candidates who are suffering from colour blindness.

But in private sector those candidates can apply.

Yes dear, definitely you can do mechanical engg. but there will be limited scope for you in PSUs, but you can easily go in private sectors & teaching line

colour blindness is not a big matter untill u make it big....firstly u wil hav no prblms in any company in private sector....in govt. u will nt eligable for posts which need high degree of eyesight such as army,engine drivers,police services,and som psu comps(nt all)....so jst be cool....n do ur studies...coz i m too a colour blind....

firstly color blindness is nt a big matter untill u urslf make it big...u r eligeble for almost every typ of job in private sector ,in govt. sector u r nt eligable for posts which require high degree of eyesight such as army,railway drivers,police forces etc...n som engg psus(nt all)...else u r eligable in evry admistrative and banking jobs....so jst b cool n study hard...coz i m 2 a color blind

I'm sorry you won't be able to make up to thd airport authority of India as they don't take the candidates who are suffering from color blindness.
But for appearing in BHEL, you can do so as there is no such requirements for conditions related to eyes.
In ies, you can enjoy the relaxation and extra chances only if you're having a certificate of physically challenged or handicapped.

Night blindness can be treated ( with Vitamin A) so first take treatment. He is eligible for job

i have a red-green color blindness problem.is it impossible for me to clear indian forest service examination medical test?

i m really hopefull after reading your comment and wanted to ask that can i apply for bank po/clerk exams and some govt jobs offered in ssc cgl and other ... and do u know that is there any resevation for color blind guys in visually impaired categorie ??? pls do reply ...

I have complete my dip. In automobile engg. And rejected from 3 companies cause I am color blind at this time I am preparing for b tech lateral entry and I am very puzzle that if I choose computer field after dip. Then there is a colour vision test held or not plz sir suggest me

i read somewhere that some PSU also don't allow color blindness. is it true? if yes, then which PSUs allow it.

Can any colour blind one becomes a patwari or tehsildaar??
