Qualification for the SI

Any degree or any graduation or post graduation from recognized university.
Minimum 55% aggregate in academics
should be citizen of India

AGE LIMIT

For GENERAL Candidates - 21 - 25 years
For OBC Candidates 21 - 28 years
For SC/ST candidates 21 - 30 years

minimum height needed-170cms
chest size should be 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion.

To apply for SI exam candidate should be graduate degree from recognise university.

Age of candidate must be minimum 20 and maximum 25 years. Physical ability is also must.Height is Minimum 170 Cms.Chest is Minimum 81 to 85 cms.

In medical standard,candidates should be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease.

Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). and not any relaxation is allowed to non genral candidates.

Physical test-Candidates have to complete 1600 mtrs Race in 6 minutes to qualify.

Exam pattern- There are two papers in the exam.

1. Paper I
(a)General Intelligence and Reasoning
(b)General Awareness
(c)Numerical Ability

2. Paper II
(a) Hindi Language - 100 Marks
(b) English Language - 100 Marks

The age criteria is:
For GENERAL Candidates: - 21 - 25 years
For OBC Candidates: 21 - 28 years
For SC/ST candidates: 21 - 30 years
