The Height weight requirement in Indian Army is vary according
to age. The minimum acceptable height for the various post in
Indian Army as an officer is 157.6 cm.

The height and weight proportionality chart is given below.



So you can check your height and weight from the above chart.
For most of the post of Indian Army your height and weight is proportional
to above chart values.

Height and weight required to join Indian Army for the male candidate is likely to be

1.height must be above 165cm.

2.weight for 170cm candidate should above 65kg.and accoding to that calculation.

Hi, Indian army requires at least 155cm for a male to become an officer.

Remember the weight charts provided have relaxation too, which are there decided by some factors which only the army doctors can say, for example - Bone density.

so even if you are over weight you have a relaxation of +/- 10% of weight.

So don't worry.Best of luck. Feel free to ask if doubts remain.

the requirement of height and weight vary according to your age
exact hight requirement is 157.6cm. in Indian Army. but there can be increase on decrease some in height and weight both according to your age so don't be hopeless if your age is not exact 157.6cm. With this your body must be physically fit.

Height and Weight for India Army :-



For Army,the candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

DEAR FRIEND IAM ZAHIRUL ISLAM 10TH PASS I DIT JOINT INDIAN ARMY AND MY HIGHT 164CM WEIGHT 58KG AGE 23 RUNING

i am ok now height weight eyesight and everything perfect & don't have any history of bone fecture but has past history of cva(paralysis) but totally recovered & everything fine now.and can do3-4 km run, 50situps,20 pushups averagely but .can i join ARMY through TGC .my biggest worry is cva history.is their any examination that revel my history.

my hight is 175cm and my weight is 48kg and age is 16 years
