Indian Army is one of the supreme forces of our Nation. It has been safeguarding us from a very long time. It is highly commendable for its great work for the country and serving its people with shear responsibility and enthusiasm. Managing and protecting the national borders is one of the main aim or prime objective of the Indian army. The army is popularly known as one of the wings of our defence besides the Indian Navy and Airforce.

Job Profile:

Indian Army is inviting applications from unmarried male Indian citizens, who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, for the grant of Permanent Commission. Interested candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should have age more than 16 and half years but not more than 19 and half years of age. Candidates should be born between 1 July 1992 to 1 July 1995 (both dates inclusives).

Physical Standards:

Height and Weight: Minimum Height required is 152 cms with 42 kg weight.
Eye Sight: Better eye 6/6 and Worst eye 6/18.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passsed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized board. Candidates must possess atleast 70% marks in aggregate at 10+2. Candidates having percentage less than 70%, should not apply at all. Candidates possessing qualification less than the prescribed one, are requested to not to apply for the specified positions in Indian Army.

No. of posts: Total 85 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 and other admissible allowances.

Application Fee:

No application fee is need to be submitted by the candidates for applying for the specified position in Indian Army.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Service Selection Board interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore. The selection process includes the Psychological test, Group Test and Interview. Candidates will have to qualify in all the stages of selection process for getting selected.

How to apply: Apply online at the official website of Indian Army from 30 May 2011 to 30 June 2011. Candidates are also required to take a prinout of the system generated completed application form and send it alongwith the other required enclosures to the following address on or before the last date for the reciept of application i.e. 10 July 2011.

    Though the cut off per cent for TES is 70% for applying but the Army Headquartes decides the min. per centage foe SSB?
    What is the min. per centage?
    Do it varies yearly?

    sir,i got 54%in pcm and 57%in pcb i got 50 in maths ,54 in physics,57 in chemistry,67 in biology,64 in english,74 in homescience total is 366/600 total% is 61, i got 76% in 10 class i got 91 marks in science ,80 in maths in 10 class but due to some reason i don’t get good marks in 12 exam i am so hard working can got admission in tes(indian army) please reply sir can i got or not

    i have very petite body structure . how can this will effect to my entry in defence services
