I have done my masters in hindi.
Now i want to prepare for NET JRF 2016 Exam, Give me some helpful tips about the exam preparation, books etc.

NET JRF Exam qualifies candidate for becoming Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowships in Indian colleges and universities.

NTA conduct NET exam twice in year. Most probably it will be in june and december. Before one or two month of the exam they call for application. You can apply through online only.Application fee depends on your category.If you are general you have to pay 800/- rs.Recently they have updated the syllabus and pattern of the exam. Now they are conducting exam in online mode only.You will get the details of syllabus from the website and you can do mock test before attempting the exam. They will publish the result within one month of the exam. You will get answer key and your recorded responds from the website where you can challenge each question by paying a specific amount.

1) go through the basic concepts
2) you can depend on online and offline materials
3) work out previous question paper
4)do mock test
5) for general paper work out reasoning and logical problems
6)study basic concepts related to teaching and research
Arihanth and upkar text books are the traditional source . But you can depend you PG notes also
