In order to become a post graduate teacher, you need to have a PG degree in particular subject area. You need to also secure 50% marks in PG level. Along with this, a B.Ed degree is also essential. You need to attend CTET exam to apply for a PGT post in government schools. In case of private schools, CTET is not compulsory, but there are certain private schools which accept CTET score and select candidates on that basis.

Is B.ed compulsory for ctet? I have finished my post graduate degree and currently doin my m.phil.
