How to become an IPS officer? Are there any coaching centers?
i aspire to become an ips officer.whether can i study of my own or should i go to any coching centers... your advice pls....

Yes you can become a IAS Officer one of the most reputed exam of the country and for the post you have to write the civil services exam and the exam is conducted by the upsc department every year and if you want to join it than you have to clear the exam .. As their you have to take two subjects as optional subjects and also their is three stages in the exam and you have to clear all the three stages if you want to join the post and first stage is the Pre exam where their is compulsory subjects English and General Awareness and than after this their will be Mains exam and than after that their will be a Final Interview and after clearing all the stages you can join As a IPS Officer .. And you have to apply for the Civil services exam and you can apply for the exam in two ways online as well as offline And if you want to fill online than just go the website and fill the form and submit the form .. To become an IPS Officer you have to clear the UPSC Civil Services Exams.
UPSC conducts the CSE every year to make recruitments to 24 posts/services. The Educational qualification required is Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. Graduation from a recognised University through Distance learning is acceptable qualification to appear in the CSE. Age limit in general category is 21-30yrs,OBC 21-33yrs and SC/ST 21-35yrs. Indian Police Service exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission
The examination has two stages- Preliminary Mains 1. The Preliminary Examination consisting of multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam. 2.The Main Examination consisting of a written exam and an interview. Eligiblity criteria - The candidate must be a degree holder of any discipline from a recognized university. The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the examination. AGE Criteria :- Minimum age limit is 21 years Maximum age limit is 30 general category 33 for OBC candidates and 35 for candidates coming under SC/ST category. Number Of Attempts - 4 for general category,7 for OBC and no limit for SC/ ST till the age of 35 years. There are many coaching institutes providing good preparations for IPS / IAS. Few best ones are - RAU's IAS circle Chanakya Academy IMS Ujjawal IAS Academy It will be a good decision to go for a coaching if you want to prepare well for IPS. To become IPS officer, you have to write Civil service exam conducted by UPSC. To apply for this examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course from a recognised board and your age should between 21 to 30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.
IPS is one of the All India Allied services provided, once you clear this exam. The post highly competitive among aspirants. Designations like DSP, SP , Commissioner are given to passouts after training for IPS. After selection, you will be trained for two in IPS academy in Hyderabad. The notification of CSE Examination is going to be published soon next year in the month of February and eligible candidates may fill the application form online only. No, offline application form facility is applicable for any candidates in this examination. The examination is conducted in 2 stages, preliminary and Mains, Firstly, you have to cracked the preliminary examination, this is objective and there are two papers in this examination. If you cracked this stage, then you are eligible for Mains. The main examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the optional subjects for Main examination. You have to prepared for this examination as per the pattern and syllabus, only then you will be able to cracked this examination, If you face any problem then you can join some good coaching classes. I am happy to know that your dream is to become IPS officer in future.It is tough task but is not impossible if you have strong determination and will power. The competition is very tough as no of aspirants is very large as compared to no of seats. IPS exam is conducted by the Upsc every year as CSE. Civil service examination conducted in the following three stages.
Preliminary Mains Interview. After completing these stage one can get the reputed post according to their performance in mains and interview. The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with good percentile. The appearing aspirant age must lie between 21 year to 30 years. There Is relaxation by 3 years for the obc aspirants and 5 years relaxation for sc/st/pd category student. |
