Since you have 57% in graduation you are eligible in terms of qualification required. You will be required to undergo a physical test. Also there will be an entrance exam. On qualifying for both these test you will be required to undergo a strenuous training.

Join Indian Army as an officer,the first designation will be lieutenant.

As an officer to join in Army you must be a graduate.

You can become Lieutenant,by giving CDS exam,which exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS exam:

Bachelor degree in any stream
Age should be between 21 to 25 years
Minimum Height should be 157cm
Eye sight should be 6/6.

If you ful fill with above mentioned criteria,then you can apply for the CDS exam.

CDS exam notification for 2011 year:

Date of submitting application is on 30-04-2011
Last date of submitting application is on 30-05-2011

Exam is on 18-09-2011

If you qualify in this exam you will be calling five days interview i.e SSB interview.If you able clear that interview,then you will an Lieutenant.

You can apply through Combined Defence Services Examination(CDSE) after your graduation.

The examination is conducted by UPSC each year. On successful completion your exam you will be called for SSB interview.

Hi,
You become a lieutenant then you give cds exam which conducted by upsc(union public service commission) in 1year 2times.
In cds few rank like as:-
Indian Military Academy,Air Force Academy,Naval Academy,and Officers’ Training Academy.
Eligibility criteria:-
For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized
university or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.
Scheme of examination:-
For Indian Military Academy / Naval Academy / Air Force Academy:-
English,General Knowledge ,Elementary Mathematics-all papers are objective type.
For Officers' Training Academy:-
English,General knowledge-all papers are objective type.
In 2011 the cds exam date is :-12.02.2012(SUNDAY) and 2nd time exam date for cds(2):-16.09.2012(SUNDAY).

Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

*Officer Candidate School. Candidates who have completed an ROTC program or a four-year college degree, and then successfully complete Officer Candidate School, can enter the Army with a commission as second lieutenant. The officer school involves 12 weeks of classroom and field-based training.
