The GCs or Gentlemen cadets get a stipend of Rs. 21,000 during the training period. The period of training is not considered as the commissioned service. On commissioning, Lieutenant gets a grade pay of Rs 5400 as per PB3 band. An amount of Rs.6, 000 .is provided as the Military Service Pay (MSP) to the officers spanning from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier. On getting commissioned as a Lieutenant, the salary segment is between Rs 15,600 to Rs 39, 100.
