How to become a scientist in ISRO after passing 11th standard
I am a 11th standard student.Physics is my favourite subject.Its my great ambition to become a scientist in ISRO.For attaining my goal,what all courses I have to study?

Hi my dear friend.............
I can give the total eligibility criteria to join in ISRO : Lower age limit: 21---30 years Academic Qualification :- You have to passed ( BE or B.Tech ) Course any Specialization from recognized Institution/ University . ISRO does hiring for below posts after BE/BTECH Scientists/Engineers-Civil Scientists/Engineers-Electrical Scientists/Engineers-Refrigeration Scientists/Engineers-Mechanical Scientists/Engineers-Computer Science/electronics Eligibilty to apply is: BE/BTECH in relevant stream of engineering with minimum aggregate of 65% marks Age- Maximum age to apply for the General Candidates is 35 years OBC can apply till 38 years SC/ST can apply till 40 years You have to apply online through ISRO website www.isro.gov.inwhen vacancy are advertised After application, only candidates shortlisted by ISRO will be allowed to give the written tests date advertised All the best........................... |

To become an ISRO scientist You have to Study Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics Subject in 10+2 and Joint B.Tech in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. The you can appear on ISRO Junior Scientist/Engineer exam. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 1. Candidate must have to score at least 60% in B.Tech examination. 2.Age must be in between 21 to 30 Years. 3. Candidate must be a citizen of India. SELECTION PROCESS: 1. Written Test. 2. Interview. 3. Medical Test. After intermediate, there is an Exam that is conducted by ISRO. You can prepare for that if you are interested for ISRO. Its really difficult to crack that(difficult than JEE) as the competition is cut throat but if you have the passion then you wont be stopped by anything.
If that chance is missed then, you can pursue engineering or B.sc and after that also there are various entries that ISRO offers on regular basis. So, you can plan for that also. |

I am JOHN PAUL studying in 8th standard.It is my dream from 6th standard onwards to be a space scientist in ISRO. IF I take aerospace engineering with b.tech and m.tech by scoring good grades,will i get into ISRO. Pleas give me some guidance. |
