To become a Doctor, you need to pursue MBBS course after completion of your 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects from a recognised board. To get admission in MBBS course, you need to appear in Medical entrance examinations like AIPMT, NEET, etc. By qualifying entrance examination, based upon rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in MBBS course. After completion of MBBS course along with practice, you can become a Doctor.

If you really want to become a MBBS, then below mentioned are few things that you should keep in mind in order to pursue the course.

To become a MBBS doctor, a candidate is required to appear for Medical Competitive Examination regulated by the Medical Council of India(MCI).

Eligibility for appearing in entrance examination:

1. Candidate must have passed +2 level of exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their compulsory subjects

2. Candidates who are appearing for the +2 level of exam are also eligible for the test.

3. Minimum percentage required in +2 examination varies from Institutes to Institutes, however, in most cases a minimum of 50% marks is considered

4. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years at the the time of applying for the examination.

Which is the suggested board to be chosen in 11th to crack medical entrance exams? e.g. NEET

To become a doctor first you must complete your 12th with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology Then after completion of 12th with PCB you have to appear in MBBS entrance exams like-
AIIMS
AIPMT
AFMC
WB-JEM
These are the medical entrance exams, after qualifying in any of these exam with good rank you will get a chance to take admission in medical course.

As the number of seat is very less than the number of students applying for Medical course , so you have to score excellent in that entrance exam to get a good rank.

You must have minimum 50 % marks in your 12th standard through science field which includes subject like Physics ,Chemistry , Biology.

Clear your exam (NEET ) and score at least above 400 to get eligibility to various doctor field like BAMS (bachelor of ayurvedic medicine), BHMS (bachelor of homoeopathy medicine ), B.D.S (bachelor of dental surgery) , MBBS ( bachelor of medicine and surgery).
