Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entrance exam for Students interested in pursuing the Chartered Accountancy Course.

They can apply by first registering themselves which can be done by purchasing the

brochure available at all the branches of ICAI. This exam is held twice

a year in the month of June and December.

You can find the information forms on ICAI website

The registration fees is as follows:-

Application Form is of Rs. 100

The Registration Fee Rs. 6000

Subscription for Members Journal Rs. 400 (Optional)

Subscription for Students Journal Rs. 200 (Optional)

Payment can be done by demand draft/Credit/Debit Card

In addition you will require your 10 and 12 mark sheets that you have to submit

Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply

CPT exams or Common Profiency tests are held in June and December each year

Next CPT exams would be held on 16th June 2013
Forms for this exam would be filled from 3rd April 2013 to 24th April 2013

In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General economics
Quantitative Aptitude

All the questions are asked in objective mode only
