CAT stands for Common Admission Test and this examination is Conducted by IIM's Every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA college . Maximum no MBA college get admission through CAT exam .

Those candidate have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks are applicable for CAT exam but your degree must be recognized.

For SC/ST candidate the percentage is 45 % in graduation.There is no age limitation for the candidate.Final year student are applicable for This exam.

You are not eligible to apply for CAT after 12th, the minimum academic qualification for application to CAT is Graduation.

CAT - Common Admission Test, is an entrance exam conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management) for admission to MBA(Master of Business Administration) course in IIMs and other reputed Institutions.

CAT IS A Common Admission Test is a national level exam organized by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Based on the grades obtained in CAT candidates will be given admission in management colleges including IIM.

Eligibility Criteria To Get Into CAT Are As Follows:

An applicant must be a Graduate with 50% marks in his/her graduation for general candidates and 45 % marks neede for sc/st
to sit for a CAT entrance exam.
In case you are appearing for final year examination of your graduation, then you can also apply .

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
CAT Exam is of two steps in which first step is written test.
After clearing written exam you have to face personnel interview.


EXAM PATTERN:
CAT is an online exam, in which you have to click on the correct answer after reading through question.

This exam is designed to examine three different skills of a candidate.
a) Quantitative skills
b) Verbal skills and
c) Logical and data interpretation skills.
Test comprises of total 60 objective type questions.

At exam location each candidate will be given separate computer terminal to attend the exam. CAT exam is two hours and thirty minutes including 15 minutes tutorial.

If you belong to SC/ST caste so,you have to secure only 45% in graduation.

CAT is Common Aptitude Test an entrance exam which is conducted at national level for admission into Management colleges for MAnagement degree after graduation.

the eligibility for the test is minimum a graduate qualification from a recognised university with 50% aggregate. the stream doesnt matter. any graduate in any stream can appear this exam.

this score card provided by CAT remains valid for 1 year and is accepted by most AICTE approved management colleges.

CAT EXAM STANDS FOR COMMON ADMISSION TEST WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY IIM.

Eligibility criteria:

Any graduation with atleast 55% marks from any recognised university.

you must be a citizen of india.

There is no age limit for this exam.

Sorry you are not eligibile because you are 3rd year now, so first complete your graduation.

Dear,

You cannot write CAT exam just after your 12th as minimum requirement to appear for CAT is to have bachelor's degree in any stream with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

So after completing your 12th from arts stream you can go for B.com or BBA and after that you can write CAT for taking admission in MBA courses.

CAT is a common aptitude test and its score is accepted by all reputed MBA colleges including IIMs for giving admission in MBA courses.

Pattern of the test is as follows:

1. Quantitative ability and data interpretation 30 questions to be solved in 70 min.
2. Verbal ability and logical reasoning 30 questions to be solved in 70 minutes.

So write now just opt a good college and complete your graduation and with it keep your CAT preparation too as it is tough and then you can get to it easily!
