you should submit the form online by visiting & filling the fields with valid data
print out of completed form should be sent to ICWAI , Kolkata along with demand draft in favour of ICWAI payable at kolkata

ICWAI-INSTITUTE OF COST AND WORK ACCOUNTANT OF INDIA conducts and managed CWA(Cost and Work Accountant) course, the examination for which is held twice a year one in the month of June and other in the month of December.

The CWA course is divided in to three parts:-

FOUNDATION COURSE- The candidate having 12th standard qualification in any stream is eligible to apply for this course.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE- The candidate having complted Foundation Course or having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University is eligible to apply directly to this course.

FINAL COURSE- The candidate having completed Intermediate course is eligible for this course.

Apart from this after completing Final course, the candidate has to undergone a 15 months training program in order to get certified as CWA by ICWAI.

COST MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING COURSE (ICWAI) is different from CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY COURSE.

as

COST MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING is more focus on cutting the cost of the production of any organization and student read other finance subject also where as CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY COURSE is more focus on AUDITING and on TAXATION and student learn other finance subjects also.

Most students attempt CA if they can purse single course However blend of both course can is consider as very good career move.

If the student are from commerce background they can prefer ICWAI course as B.com can give the knowledge of financial aspect of business which ICWAI does not provide.

As you are 12 passed you should prefer CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY COURSE.

FINAL

QUALIFICATION FOR APPEARING IN CPT

10+2 PASSED

There are three stages in CA

Common Proficiency Test(CPT)
IPCC
Final examination


CA it takes around 4.5 years on whole.

After clearing both IPCC (group I & II )

You can appear for final examination

CA FEE

C A TOTAL fee is around 40000/- to 45000/-.

Chartered accountancy is the course cover various topics on finance.

ICWAI acronym for Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India.
IWAI examination held twice in a year during the month of June and December.

ICWAI course is divided into 3 stages.
-Foundational course
-Intermediate course
-Final course.

Eligibility;

You have to pass your 10+2 you have the direct entry on the Foundational course.After clearing the Foundational course you are eligible for Intermediate.

Eligibility for intermediate course is you have to pass your graduation in nay recognized university.So you have the direct entry on Intermediate course after graduation.

I , pooja js wanna to ask tht i hv passed 12 th last year with 93% n nw i hv also passed entrance exam called cpt with 139 marks but due to some circumstances i was not able to give exams in ipcc grp 1 , now i want to move. On to icwai course. Pls can u let me know th procedure to switch on to icwai. I m currntly also doing b.com
