I am going to appear in 10th board exam.I want to ask that can I attend in NDA exams by taking arts subject in 12th?

Yes, after 12th you can apply for NDA. Subject selected in 12th is not a restriction to attend NDA. Those who have studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects in HSC can join with Army, Navy and Air Force. Others are eligible for Army only. You need to clear the test before you complete 19 years of age.

Yes,you will be eligible to appear in NDA Exam if you will Arts Stream in 10+2.But you can only appear for the Army wing.

Eligibility you will need to fulfilled in order to appear in NDA Exam are :-

Nationality :- Indian.

Martial status :- Unmarried.

Gender - Male.

Educational qualification :-
-->>You should be pass out in 10+2 from recognized university/Board.

Age :-
-->>Your minimum age should be 16 and should not be above 19 years.

NOTE :- You cannot appear more then 3 times in this exam.

I am sorry to say but you can not appear for NDA(National defence academy) this year.
By taking arts in +2, you will be only eligible for Army.

To appear in NDA you must be an Indian and you must have qualified +2 from a recognized board. Your age must be 16.5-19 years.

For appearing in the NDA exam, you should first complete your 12th and then only you can apply for the exam. The only criteria for giving the NDA exam is that you should have cleard your 12th and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years of age.
If you want to apply for the indian air force, then it is cumpolsary for you to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in your class 12th.
The NDA exam is conducted by the upsc, twice in a year.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year.

Candidate should be physically fit.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

The minimum educational qualification to apply this exam is 12th standard.

No percentage is needed to apply this exam.

The age limits are 16.5years to 19 years, no age relaxation.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To apply for NDA one should have completed 12th with required eligibility.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical and mental Fitness.

So in order to apply for NDA you have to first complete 12th in any stream.

YES, you can attend the NDA exams after taking arts in class 11th and 12th.

But in that case you would only be eligible to apply for the Army wing of the NDA and not airforce and Navy wing of the NDA

Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exas is:
12th pass for army wing
12th Pass with science subjects Physics and Maths for Airforce and Navy Wing

Age of all the candidates who apply to NDA should be between 16.5 to 19 years
