i manoj guleria studiying in 10th std. at chennai and intresting to join NDA entrance exam
after finning my 10th exam.
so how can we apply .

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I and NDA-II.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational qualification:
12th standard from a recognised state or central board.
Percentage is not required for this exam.
For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:Citizen of india.

Important note:
Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

No , you are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination after completing 10th standard because minimum qualification to apply for NDA Examination is the candidate need to completed their 10+2 School Education from a recognized School .

If you are completed 12th examination and then you are eligible to apply for this examination . If you are not completed 12th examination then you are not eligible to apply for this examination . 12th is compulsory qualification for while appearing in the 12th examination . You must compulsory hold that qualification .

You must have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years at the time of commencing of this examination and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination . This examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission for admission to Army wings , Navy wings , Air force wings .

No, you cannot attend NDA exam after 10th class. Minimum qualification to attend this exam is 12th class. Diploma candidates can also attend this exam conducted by UPSC. Minimum age limit to attend this exam is 16.5 years. Maximum age limit to attend this exam is 19 years. 12th class in science stream with subjects such as PCM is necessary to join Navy and Air force. To join Army, candidates can secure 12th class in any stream. You need to be a male candidate who is unmarried to attend this exam. Selection process in this exam includes written test, Physical test and Personal Interview.

Eligibility For NDA

The National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam is conducted every year by the UPSC for recruitment of candidates into the following wings :-

>> Army Wing
>> Air Force Wing
>> Navy Wing

The exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August..

Candidates appearing for the NDA Exam must satisfy the following criterion :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as seen on 1st January if appearing for April Exam and 1st July if appearing for the exam in August..

>> Candidates must have completed their 12th or must be appearing for boards from a recognized board..

>> Candidates must also satisfy the physical requirements according to the wing they wish to join..

You have to first complete your 12th..till then you are not eligible to appear for the NDA Exam..

You can apply for the NDA exam after 12th class.

Because the minimum qualification for the NDA exam is that you must have coplete your 12th from a recognized school or recognized board.
And your age must be in between 16.5-19 years.

You must be physically fit and you must be Indian.

So you have 2 years after that you can apply for the NDA exam.

You can apply in the 12th class for the exam.

Selection process is based on 3 steps , which are given below

1) Written exam

2) SSB Interview

3) Medical Test

As I read the detail 10class is not the eligible for NDA, so I want to now is their any school or college of defence academy in Pune ?how do i get admission? and my son is state and national level skates player, he has many certificates and studying from CBSE. School in Panvel (New Horizon Public School) please reply soon.
