dear friend you have to first clear your 10+2 with science stream. and your age should be 16.5 to 19. then you can appeard in NDA exam.for more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in

Hello friend,
To join National Defense Academy, you will have to write NDA exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year.
To be eligible, you must have qualified the +2 level of exam from a recognized board.
The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years.
The selection process comprise of three stages.
1.Written examination
2.Interview
3.Medical test

After getting selected, you will pursue BA or Bsc in the academy for a period of three years. After completion of three years degree program including physical training, you will step out of the academy as an officer.

NDA EXAM ELIGIBILITY

No, you cannot apply for NDA... You have to finish 12th std to apply for NDA..

-> So study well for now and get some good marks in 12th and then apply for NDA exam...

Conditions of eligibility

Age limits, sex and marital status:Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible
Educational qualifications

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Physical standards: Candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2011 as given in appendix-V of commission’s notice for the examination published in employment news/rozgar samachar dated 09th April, 2011

How to apply: Candidates may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in, detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the abovementioned website

Candidates may also apply offline in the common application form devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices (specified in appendix-III of the notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 20/- (Rs twenty only). Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination

In case of any difficulty in obtaining application forms from the designated HPOs/Pos, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post master or UPSC’s forms supply monitoring cell over Tele 011-23389366/Fax 011-23387310

Fee:Candidates applying online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 50/- (Rs fifty) only either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card

Candidates applying off-line (through common application form) are required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only) through central recruitment fee stamp only

SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee

No you cannot apply for NDA after 10 class.
To apply for NDA you need to pass 10+2 with 50% aggregate in all papers put together.

NDA is for 3 years.

so you have to appear +2 then only you can appear in the exam.

sorry to say dear you cant apply for the post of NDA because you have just completed 10.

after 10+2 you are applicable for NDA exam.

It can be applied after completion of your 12th standerd.

here your !2 th standerd persentage will be 60%.

Its better to maintain the above 60%.

Age limit is 17 to 19 years.

Sorry you are not eligible for NDA exam as you are in 10th you have to wait 2 years.
Following is the eligibility of applying for NDA examination-
Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 years
12th appearing or appeared students are eligible....
Only Maths students are eligible for applying NDA examination..
I think you have not passed this criteria so you are not eligible for applying for NDA examination..As you are now 16 year so your age not completed of 16 half...So sorry to say try next NDA examination But however you are eligible for NDA II examination.

the eligibility for the NDA entrance exam is that one should have passed the 12th board exam from any of the recognized board with the science stream

the age limit is from 16.5 years to 19 years

so you can apply for the NDA exam only after completing your 12th board exam ...

National Defence Academy (NDA) is only inviting application of the 12th class appearing or pass out student whose age is in between 16 to 19 years.

NDA exam is conducted twice in a year.

*High school qualification with min. 50%, in any stream. (maths for air force)
*Age limit-16.5-19 yr. On 1st july of exam year.

No you cannot do NDA after 10 th.You have to finish +2 exam for applying for the exam.
Eligibility:

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. The candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years.
3. The candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.
4. The candidate must have completed +2 with 10th,12th pattern of school education from a recognized school board.

there is also certain age limit i.e. 16.5-19 years but you become eligible only after doing your class 12 with good score in PCM..........

No friend, To apply for NDA the basic educational qualification required is atleast 12th std pass. That to if you want join in navy or airforce you must choose science as your stream. And your age must be above 16.5 and below 19 at the year of examination. And you should be an Indian Citizen and unmarried male to apply for this exam.

With 10th your are not eligible for NDA exam,to appear for NDA exam,then you have to complete 12th standard with PCM stream,at the same time you are age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

You can not apply for the NDA exam right now because you can only apply for the exam only after finishing your 12th exam as the eligibility criteria says.

Eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates who are born not before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

For Army Wing of NDA:

The candidate must have passed his +2 with (10th +2) pattern by the school education.

For Air force and Naval wings of NDA:

The candidate must have passed his +2 with (10th , +2) pattern conducted by school education with physics and mathematics as in their subjects.

Most of which you must be physically fit when appearing for the exam.

I am sorry to say that you can't join N.D.A after passing 10th class.

If you want to join N.D.A then you have to pass 12th with any stream.

The limit for joining N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

After qualify N.D.A exam you can join Defence services that:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

After qualify N.D.A you have to take 3 year to pass out form N.D.A
