If you want to become a CID Officer then first you have to complete graduation course in Criminology from recognized university. Because graduation course in Criminology is the minimum educational qualification to apply for CID Officer Examination. After successful qualification of Graduation course, You have to apply for CGPE ( Combined Graduate preliminary Exam ) Examination which is organized by Staff Selection Commission for every year. Applicant should be complete Graduation course in Criminology with pass mark in order to apply for Combined Graduate preliminary Exam. The Applicant age should be not less than 20 years and not more than 27 years and relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST candidates and OBC candidates.
