For making you eligible for joining the Marine Engineering course, Candidates applying for marine engineering should have Diploma in Mechanical / Marine / Naval Architecture / Shipbuilding / Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering. They should score minimum 50 per cent marks in English in both class 10th as well as 12th. Ther is an age limit too and cannot proceed beyond 28 years. Candidates also have to qualify for the full eyesight test conducted by the DG Shipping approved medical doctor.. There are courses in similar stream like Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (SMME), Master of Science in Ocean Engineering. For the course , here is the list of institutes:
