Hello Sir, I want to join Aviation Field after class 12. How can I join Aviation Field after completing class 12? Which course will suit me and what would be the salary?

To join Aviation field after class 12, you can pursue either Aeronautical engineering or get admitted to a Commercial Pilot training institute.

But you must have passed 10+2 with PCM stream in both the cases.

For pursuing Aeronautical engineering, you will have to pass an entrance exam like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHT-CET, VITEE, BITSAT, etc.

After passing anyone of these exams, you will get admission in a specific engineering college and there you can choose Aeronautical engineering as your branch.

After completing your degree, you can be recruited in an Aviation company or IAF as well.

While to be a Commercial pilot, you will have to pass certain tests like:

• Written Exam (contains General Knowledge, Maths, English)
• Interview
• Mental Balance, Situation Handling, Medical Test

Additionally, you must have following qualities like:

• A perfect eyesight
• A good familiarity with aeronautical machines
• Fluency in English

Then, you can get admission easily in anyone of the following institutes:

• Indian Aviation Academy, Mumbai
• Co-operative Flying Club Ltd, Jamshedpur
