CID stands for the Central Investigation Department.
So as to join this department, you will have to appear for the Staff Selection Commission Graduate Level exam and clear all the stages of this exam. Any candidate who has done his/her bachelor's degree from a recognized university can apply for the SSC CGL exam. Even if you are waiting for your bachelor's degree result you can apply for the exam. The age limit is 20-30 years. OBC and SC/ST candidate have upper age relaxation. The official website for any other relevant information regarding CID is www.ssc.nic.in. |
