Respected sir,
I am a student of class B.A final.i want to join Indian Military Academy.I have a "c" certificate with "B" grade in NCC.So please sir, tell me how and when i can join the IMA. .I requested to you to tell me that when forms will come of IMA.

IMA Stands for Indian Military Academy and Candidates May Join IMA by these Modes :

>> Direct Entry through CDSE Examination
>> University Entry Scheme
>> Technical Entry Scheme
>> Technical Graduate Entry Scheme for Engineering graduates.

But, You have Pursuing your B.A Degree course, So you are Only eligible for CDSE Examination.

CDSE Stands for Combined Defense Services Examination and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year.

To apply for CDS Examination, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for this examination. To apply for IMA, Your age should not be More than 24 Years and Not less than 19 years.

The Notification of CDS Examination was already Availiable in the UPSC Website and the Online Registration process was already started and the last date of apply for CDS Examination : 28/Nov/2011.

And the examination will be held on 12/Feb/2012.

The selection are based on Written examination and you have to cracked the 3 Papers in IMA : English, General Knowledge And Elementary Mathematics.

HI,
You can join Indian Military Academy after passing the graduation..

For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam..

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
Candidate who pass the graduation in stream is eligible for this exam.

Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

dear friend,

Age wise eligibility for Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy Exams:-

1) For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination.

2) For Officers Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination.

after graduation there is a separate exam sheld for entry in IMA or NDA that is called as CDS .
the minimum eligibility for it is graduation in any field.
