i am ritwik a studnt of +2 and my stream is non medical .after my +2 i want to serve my motherland being a part of indian air force in flying batch. . Please advice me with the necesary things that have to be d0ne by me for acomplishment of my goals.

After 12th, One needs to appear for NDA exam to enter into air force. The age should also lies between 16 years 6 months to 19 years at the time of filling application form. The Candidate can join army also through NDA only. This exam is to enter into all three defense forces. You need to be physically fit without ant past disease.

If one doesn’t clear the NDA Exam, the other option is, one can go for the Indian Army as well as the Indian Air Force with these subjects at the bachelor’s level through the Combined Defense Services Exam which is conducted twice a year (February and August) by the Union Public Service Commission to admit cadets for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

For the record, the eligibility criterion is as follows:

For IMA: Unmarried males with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (aggregate 60%).

For Air Force Academy: Unmarried males with BE / Bachelors degree, Physics and Math in Plus II.

For OTA (SSC course): Married or unmarried males with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

For OTA (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women/issue less widows and divorcees/widows of defense personnel (four-year age relaxation for widows of defense personnel)

After passing Class 12th , if you want to join Indian airforce than you have to appear in the UPSC Conducted NDA exams

NDA exams are held twice each year


Eligibility to apply:

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.

AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply

NDA stands for national defense academy examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year as NDA(1) and NDA (2).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED -

your age should be 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male candidates can apply for this examination. to apply for air force

or naval wing examination you should passed 10+2 with physics and math’s as compulsory subjects. to apply for army wing examination

you should passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized school.

After passing 12th you can join Indian Air Force through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy along with Indian Air Force.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fee for the exam.

If you are from Non-Medical stream , then after passing the 12th board exam , you can join the Indian Air Force if you successfully cracks the NDA Examiantion.

The NDA Examination is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission through which candidates like you can join the following wings of Indian Defense :

The NDA Exam is named as NDA-I which is conducted in the month of April , and the NDA-II Exam which is conducted in the month of August.

But , to appear for the NDA Exam , there are some basic requirements set by the Union Public Service Commission which you have to fulfill in any case.

The Basic Requirements for NDA Examiantion are :

* You must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* There is no any specific percentage bar required in 12th.

* Only Male candidates are eligible to appear for the exam.

* The age of the candidate must lie in between 16.5-19 yrs.

* The male candidates must be umarried.

* The candidates must have Indian Citizenship.

* The candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

The NDA Examination is conducted in three phases :

The science stream candidates are eligible for the Indian Air force.

PCM subjects are required for the Indian Air force & Navy.

First you can join the Indian Air force you can apply for the NDA exam.

Yes you can join Indian Air Force after completing 10+2 with Non Medical stream.

You can join Indian Air Force after 10+2 PCM through following ways:

-NDA examination (officer level)

-Group X Technical Trade (non officer level)

-Group Y Trade (non officer level)

For NDA exam age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male of India.

Exam Pattern for NDA :



For non officer posts the age limit is 17.5 to 21 years and you have to appear for written exam,physical fitness test and medical examination.

You must have good physical fitness and eyesight to become eligible for Indian Air Force.

Otherwise you will be rejected in the medical examination.
