Indian Air Force

If you are aspiring to join Indian Air Force then you should have to apply for NDA examination and for that you have to fulfill the following Qualification....


<3 A candidate must have completed their 12th Science from Recognized board.

<3 Only Unmarried Male can apply for it.

<3 Age of candidate must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

<3 A candidate must have a citizenship of INDIA.

Exam pattern:

1. Prelim Exam
2. Main exam
3. Personal interview and Physical Test

Physical Requirement:

$$ A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expansion. Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes.

$$ He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III. Should recognize red and green colours.

$$ Should have sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum 14 dental points. Should not have disease like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocle or piles.

You have to apply for NDA Entrance Exam conducted by UPSC Twice tme in Year......

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy

A candidate who have completed their 12th Science are eligible for it.....
Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years.....
A candidate should have Nationality of INDIA....
Only Unmarried Male are Eligible for it.....

NDA Is Conducted in Three Wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

Physical Requirement:

>> A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health....

You can definitely join the Indian Air-foce as you have passed 12th with sciecne stream.

You will have to crack the NDA exam in this regard.

this exam is conducted by UPSC two times a year in April and August.


to be eligible for this exam you need to satisfy the following criterion-

1>You should be an Indian citizen.

2>Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

3>You should be an unmarried male.

4>you should be 12th passed or 12th appearing student from Science stream with PCM subject from a recognized board.


Through this exam you can also join army and Navy other than Air-force.

you will also have to satisfy some physical and visual standards for joining the air-force which are given below-

Yeah thats really nice to hear that after completion 12th standard the candidates are eligible for Indian airforce.

The total details are:


For this you have to apply NDA examination which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complet 12th standard from a recognised board.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

For navy and airforce you must have complete 12th standard with PCM subjects.

Candidate must be a citizen of india and physically fit.


Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible for NDA

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, and no upper age relaxation.


Selection process:-

Written test,

SSB interview,

Medical test.
