I am a 12th std student (non medical). I want to join Indian Air Force. I will be 19 yrs old in june. Can i join IAF after 12th class result? Also i want to know if girls can apply for IAF after 12th immediately (as i am girl) . PLZZZ DO REPLY.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Indian Air force after passing 12th with non-medical stream.

If you want to join you can join after passing graduation with physics and Maths.

Boy can apply after passing 12th with non-medical stream in Indian Air Force
through N.D.A. But Girl are not eligible for that. If you want you can apply through Combined Defence services exam.

C.D.S Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S exam:-
> Pass Graduation with any stream from recognized university.
> Age should be above 19 and below 24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Both unmarried male and female candidate is eligible.
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

I am sorry non medical students are not eligible for the Indian Air force. But you can eligible for the Indian Army.

To join the Indian Air force you can apply for the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service.

This exam conduct UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility:

The candidate should be Indian.

You should complete the 12th standard from recognized state board of India.

PCM subjects required for the Indian Air force and Navy Exams.

No percentage required for this exam.

The candidate age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates applicable for this exam.

Girls are not eligible.

Selection Process:

Written Examination

Medical Test

Interview

I am sorry non medical students are not eligible for the Indian Air force.because To appear in Airforce/Navy Academy then you should Complete Complete 12th standard in science stream (Physics and Mathematics ). But you are non medical candidates so you are not eligible for this exam.

Eligibility criteria:

**The candidate should be complete +2 (science stream)from a recognised state board.

**You should be a citizen of india.

**You must be physically fit.

**Age limits is 16 1/2 year to 19years.

**Most important thing is only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Selection procedure:

Written test,
Interview,
Medical test.
