On the basis of the academic qualification you possess and as per your age, there are basically three modes of entry into the Indian Army:

Soldier (Technical): In order to join the Technical Department of Indian Army as an Soldier, you must have passed 10+2 level of examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. The maximum age limit for the same is 23 years.

Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical): To join as Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper, you must have passed 10+2 level of examination with any combination of subjects and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. The maximum age limit for the same is 23 years.

Soldier Nursing Assistant: on the basis of your +2 qualification, you may also join the Army Medical Corps as Soldier Nursing Assistant provided you have passed 10+2 level of examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. The maximum age limit for the same is 23 years.
