You are not eligible for Indian army because you have not yet, clear your 10th examination. To join Indian Army as a Soldier, you must have completed your 10th examination and your age should between 17.5-21 years. For Soldier, Clerk/Store Keeper Technically, you must have passed in your intermediate examination with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject, you must have studied and passed in English and maths/Accounts/Book keeping in class 12th with 40% marks in each subject. The urge to apply for Soldier clerk is 17.5 - 23 years.

Those who have passed in Intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English are eligible for Technical Soldier in Indian Army, to Join Indian army as a technical soldier, your age should between 17.5-23 years.

Apart from soldier entry, you have other options also. If you want to Join Indian army as an officer, then for this you have to apply for the NDA (National Defense Academy) examination. UPSC Conduct NDA Examination two times in every year. To apply for NDA Examination as Army wings, you must have completed your intermediate examination in any discipline from a recognized board and your age should between 16.5-19 years at the time of commencement of training.

But you are only eligible for NDA Examination when you have passed your 10th and 12th examination. The selection in the NDA is based on the writing test, SSB interview, Medical test and Final Interview.

You can also apply for the CDS (Combined Defense academy) examination as Indian Military Academy (IMA) only after completing your Graduation. For CDS examination, your age should between 19 to 24 years. The selection is strictly on the basis of a written test followed by medical and personal interview.

As you have mentioned that you have failed in class tenth, you are not eligible for any type of jobs in Indian Army.

Even for jobs like Clerk, Cobbler, Store Keeper etc, you need to be 10th passed.

So, appear for the tenth exam and pass it with good marks then go for 10+2 exam as after completing your 10+2, you will be eligible for the National Defense Services exam.

It will provide you jobs of officer rank. Your age must between 16.5-19.5 years. You should be unmarried male Indian citizen.

To join in Indian army is a proud thing to do and the procedure to join in this force is by applying for the entrance exam. There are qualifications which are needed to be satisfied by the candidate who is applying and regarding that, you have only completed 10th standard which is not enough for applying in Indian army.

The minimum educational qualification needed for joining in Indian army is completed +2 from a recognized school board of education. Added to this criteria there are certain other criteria's which are also needed and they include such as:

• Nationality
• Age limit
• Martial status
• Physical standard

# The nationality standard needed is citizenship in India.

# Age limit needed is 16 1/2-19 1/2 years

# Martial status states that candidate appearing should be a unmarried male candidate.

# Candidate need to be physically fit.

You have failed in your 10th which makes you ineligible to apply. If you satisfy these criteria's then you may have an opportunity to join in Indian army.

There is no possibility for you to join Indian Army if you have failed in standard 10th.

If you are really interested in joining Indian Army for your better career and serving the country, first pass the 10th exam and then 10+2 so that you can become eligible for the National Defense Services exam.

The age limit for NDA is 16.5-19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this course.

If you pursue your 10+2 from science stream and score well in PCM, depending upon your % of marks you can apply for the Technical Entry scheme for Indian army.
