Men and women can apply for either of the streams through the short service commission scheme. Men can also apply for permanent commission scheme. You will be eligible once you complete graduation. 60% in graduation is a must. Also your age should not be over 25 years.

HI!
I am sorry to say that after passing 12th with commerce stream you are not eligible for Indian Air force of Navy.

If you want you can join Indian Army.

For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year in month of August and April.

If you want you can apply.

Age limit for N.D.A is 16.5-19 year.

There are 3 Stage of selection:-
> written exam
> Interview
> Medical Exam

To enter in navy or air Force you have to crack the CDS exams. The "Combined Defence
Services" Examination is
conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission
for recruitment into the Indian
Military Academy, Officers
Training Academy, Naval
Academy and Air Force Academy.
The Notification for the
examination is usually released in
the months of October and June,
and the examinations are
conducted in February and
September respectively. Only
unmarried graduates are eligible
to sit for the exam. Successful
candidates are admitted into the
respective Academies after an
interview conducted by the
Services Selection Board (SSB).

Degree from a recognized
university or equivalent
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with
Physics & Mathematics or
Bachelor of Engineering
For Air Force Academy: Degree
of a recognized University
with Physics and Mathematics
at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering

I m pursuing graduation with commerce..I know I will have to get 60% in graduation then I can apply for Indian navy..but I just want to know that is there any physique requirement for girls..and as I belong from commerce which post is better for me....
