Dear Sir/Madam
Application for Practical Training

I am a student at Shaheed Uddham Singh College of engineering and technology, Tangori, Punjab Technical University. who is currently pursuing the Bachelor in Biotechnology degree. I have completed four semesters of study and I am now looking for a place to do my Industrial Training attachment for a period of 6 weeks from 15 june 2011 to 31 july .

I would really appreciate it if i could get training in DRDO,CHANDIGARH to
fulfill my industrial training requirement. I have chosen this company for
this purpose because I am interested in a career in research in the defence sector of our country. I believe I could gain
valuable experience as a trainee in this company to further my career goal.

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) Education :- You have to get at least first class in BE/B.Tech in the streams Chemical Engg/ Mechanical Engg /Electronics & Communication Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University.
2) Age Limit : 28 years
3) Nationality :- Only Indian can apply.

Candidates appearing in the final examination (final semester) may also apply.

Exam Pattern of DRDO-SET :-
Questions consist of two sections -
1) Section A:- 100 questions to test your knowledge in the technical.
2) Section B:- 50 questions to test your aptitude relevant to Applied Research & Development.

Forms generally available in December every year.
