I am haidar completed B.com and now doing as a accountant job in private orgnaisation and i want to do icwai course pls send me the details of icwai (period, process and opportunities)

ICWAI course is now Known as Cost and Management Accounting Course.

It is very good professional Course and proves to be very beneficial to you as you are commerce Graduate and already have some experience in accounts.


ICWAI is professional who is thorough in Cost and Management accounting but the course is more focused in Cost Accounting.

So, Cost and Management Accountant focus on keeping the cost of production of any organization or company as less as possible and he is also well verse with other accounting practice.

with the help of the diagram you will be able to understand the various CMA roles in a company



As you are graduate you can directly apply in Executive level of CMA.

There are 3 stages in ICWAI

FOUNDATION
fee - 3500/-
EXECUTIVE
fee - 7000/
FINAL
Fee - 7500/- (around).



It takes 3 years minimum (around ) to complete the course for Commerce/Other Graduate Students.

You have to register yourself with ICWAI for appearing for Executive level examination held by ICWAI.

You can register online or offline.

There are various centers of ICWAI which are spread all over India.
If you have any doubt you could visit your nearest center and take all required information.

Examinations of ICWAI are held twice in a year in june and december for june terms You need to apply before dec 5 of previous year

and for december exam you have to apply for before june 5.

After completing the course you would be able to work in Private as well as Govt Sector.

There are various career opportunities for Qualified CMA and one of the best opportunity is that you will be able to get the job in Indian Cost Services which is equivalent to IAS/IPS.
