CA stands for Chartered Accountancy course. CA course and engineering course are totally different and if you are from science stream, you may even face some problem while opting for commerce stream career options. It would be better for you to continue your engineering course. If you will leave your engineering course then there will be a loss of one year of studies.

For getting enrolled in CA course, first a candidate needs to clear Common Proficiency Test which is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India twice every year in June and December respectively. CPT is an objective test which consists of questions from economics, mercantile law, aptitude and Fundamentals of Accountancy. You will have to study these subjects to clear CPT exam. Next stage is IPCC and last stage is Final course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
