i am completed AMIE, equal to B.tech from IEI in 2004. now I want to do M.tech (mechanical engineering) through distance education from Karnataka state open university, Mysore.is consider the certificate in teaching field in Andhra Pradesh.

Only through IITs,IIITs,NITs,BITs Pilani and Mesra,HDQ NIT Rourkela etc.
You must see trough gate and AMIE benefits as given below:
1.You have much more spare time so that AMIE / AMIETE students can do Job.
2.By the way AMIE students have to do Job.BE / B Tech students can appear GATE exam in 4th year but AMIE / AMIETE students can appear GATE exam after completion of SECTION-A only.
3.Mostly AMIE / AMIETE students are placed in multinational companies like TCS, Wipro, HSBC, Syntel, Cognizant etc.
4.Many of AMIE / AMIETE students are doing ME / M Tech throughout India in many colleges even in IIT / NIT’s also.
5.AMIE / AMIETE students can appear any exam where BE/ B Tech students can apply.
6.Many AMIE / AMIETE students are preparing UPSC , MPSC etc. Exams.
AMIE / AMIETE is Non-formal, Off campus Education system. It is not Distant or Correspondence Education.
7.You may now work as a Consultant in respective engineering field.
8.You may sit in various competitive examinations viz. IES, IAS , MBA, and many more
9.You may get promotions in many Government /Private/Public sector departments
10.You may apply for superior posts.
11.M Tech finalization can be approach through NIT Rourkela and IITs.

Sir , I have completed my B.Tech from BPUT ,Odisha. So,can i admit in IEI for completing M.tech degree?

I have completed my section A in AMIE,as i have read somewhere I can apply for GATE, Is it correct?

To do Mtech after either you can get admission in any open university or if you want to do mtech from the reputed college then you have to apply for the gate exams.
After scoring good percentile in gate you can get admission in IIT'S OR NIT'S OR top colleges of india and even you get stipend OF 12000 from AICTE.

Hello! I'm asking a different question . As you guys are saying that you have completed AMIE. I have heard that AMIE exams are nearly impossible exam to pass. People prefer BTech in regular than doing AMIE. Although AMIE fees are not as expensive as BTech fees of private institutes.
I live in northern area of West Bengal. It takes 18hours journey by train to reach Kolkata from my district.
I have pursued polytechnic. And passed with 66.6% in civil engineering on this year.
I haven't got a job yet. But maybe I will get to work as a trainee, under local contractors.

What will be the best for me? Should I join IEI and pursue AMIE? As I am an average student..so..will it be convenient for me to pass?

please tell me whether can we join MTech/ME soon after AMIE? or job experience of some years is required?

Dear student,
AMIE is equivalent to b. tech course. To get admission at M. TECH course you have to give gate exam. And need a good gate rank to get govt college.
There are so many govt. Psu like IOCL, ONGC, HP, OIL, ISRO which takes employees through gate score.
