i have done MCA(smu)de in 2007. i have a gap .so i want to do M.tech (cs) from bangalore .can u suggest me VTU offer M.TECH after MCA.Most colleged offer M.TECH forr B.E AND B.TECH ONLY not for mca.plese suggest me which carrer i opt after mca
my gate2013 marks is 20 .my AIR IS 25000.ANY CHANCES TO GET ADMISSION .

I have asked my friends regarding this and they mentioned Mtech is possible after mca. I will confirm with the colleges also and come back.

YES, MCA students are eligible for Appear M.Tech CS course.

Minimum eligibility criteria:

Candidate should have graduate a degree from any recognized university.

Minimum 50% marks for M.Tech Degree programmes.

VIT University.
VEL Tech University and more university can give MCA student are eligible for M.Tech CS Course.....

Yes MCA completed candidates can do M.Tech courses. All the candidates completed MCA should apply for GATE exam. GATE stands for Graduate aptitude test for engineering.

GATE is a M.Tech entrance exam and conducted through out India. So getting a rank is mandatory, you can admission in M.Tech any where in India after passing this exam and hard wok for this exam is very important to get a good rank.

Now a days many companies including government companies are seeing GATE score for giving jobs. After passing GATE you can do M.Tech doing job as a part time or full time. Also you can get into the jobs if eligible.

There is no maximum age limit for writing GATE exam and no marks percentage restriction is there.


The score card is valid for 2 years and there also restriction in attempting the exam
