Re: How to do MBA from IIPM? Fee structure for management seat?
MBA is a good decision when it comes to nurturing a great career. It has immense potential as an academic post graduation course and is highly respected in the market as well. It is highly recommended by everyone and therefore is a very known masters program across the globe. It is known for the knowledge that it imbibes in the students taking it up and helps implemented that to real time business scenarios.
Speaking of IIPM - Indian Institute of Planning and Management is one of the private MBA colleges and is known for its scale and quality of education. Though, a bit on the expensive side this college is pretty familiar to students and is owned and governed by dean - Arindam Chaudhuri. This college was established in 1973 and is a good one to go for. Although MBA aspirants in India are usually more inclined towards the IIMs and IITs and other better colleges; IIPM is more of the final option for those who are willing to spend money and have not been able to crack many national level entrances. Thus, if you feel that ways you may consider this college further. Talking about the entrance, it is called E-PAT (Entrepreneurship & Planning Admission Test) and it tries to study the Emotional Quotient of the students than just IQ. Students have to take up this entrance in order to be considered for admissions to this course and start the process. It can be done by: 1. Filling out online form at IIPM 2. Walking into one of the campuses 3. Email queries to [email protected] The process is fairly simple and demands no rocket science. Overall it should be a hassle free experience. The fee structure varies depending on a lot of parameters, however the usual overall money that one ends up paying is about 13-18 lacs. It is a bit on the higher side, but looking at the kind of return the MBA graduates get these days, it looks fine. Thus, it is now up to you to decide on whether you have to go for this college or not. Or you can even consider taking other entrances such as MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, IIFT, SNAP, etc for other better colleges across the country. |
