You can opt for Ph.D topic pertaining to your field of interest. According to UGC rules, candidate needs to clear the entrance exam NET and interview for getting admitted for Ph.D program. During the Ph.D program, they need to complete course work for requisite credits. There are some universities that allows exception to this rule for engineers and doctors who have pursued B.E./B.Tech or M.B.B.S. Candidates need to complete credits through coursework, a formal proposal of synopsis devised with consultation of the guide.
