How to get admitted in NIFT, NID course?

Iam very much intrested in the Nift,nid, (m.F.M) course,
It would be greatful if you cn sugest me the proper guidance and also would like to know what exam i ve to clear to be get admited for the nifd,nid, (M.F.M)

Minimum eligibility for the Undergraduate course

1. 10+2 with 50% marks


Reputed and important institution take candidate on the basis of

1. written test,
2.situation test,
3.group discussion
and
4.interview.

fill the form for entrance ,prepare well and score well in the selection process.

NIFT is a premier institute in Fashion Design.

They conduct UG courses in Design, Fashion Technology and PG courses in Design, Fashion Management, Technology and also diploma courses.

The admission is through a nationwide competitive exam. Basic requirement is 10+2 for UG courses. Please refer to their latest prospectus in the following webpage:

The admission process for the coming year has already started and the last date for receipt of applications is over. It closed on 10th Jan.

The National Instt of Design (NID) offers Graduate Diploma prog in Design in Industrial Design, Communication Design and Textile, Apparel and Lifestyle Accessory Design at Ahmedabad. This is a four year course for 10+2 students. Please refer to http://www.nid.edu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=89&It emid=152 for their admission procedure. For the ensuing year, the last date was 21st Nov.

they also have a PG dip course in Design. Please refer to http://www.nid.edu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=89&It emid=152. This application submission date also closed on 21st Nov.

If you have already finished 10+2, keep watching their websites, sufficiently in advance.

National Institute of Design (NID) is the internationally acclaimed and prestigious institute offering course in the field of design. NID is known as the good institute of India for the designing course. It offers many under graduate and post graduate course in the field of design. NID is one of the best institute in Asia.

NID is a prominent institute in India for the aspirants of Design. NID does entrance examination for the creative and talented people who wanted to pursue a career in Design, called National Entrance Examination for Design (NID NEED). The eligible candidates get admission into the undergraduate program, Graduate Diploma Program in Design.

Candidate who have passed or appeared the qualifying examination under higher secondary (10+2) or its equivalent are eligible to apply for NID exam. There is no limit percentage of marks in the qualifying examination required for the appearing in the NID entrance exam. The upper age limit for the candidate for applying in under graduate programme in NID is 20 years (reservation category gets age relaxation on the upper age by 3 years). Eligibility for post graduation programme at NID is bachelorís degree or any equivalent to it. Upper age limit for candidates applying for post graduation at NID is 30 years (relaxable by 3 years for reserved categories).Ug programme is of 4 years and pg programme is of 2 Ĺ years in NID. The application forms for applying in NID are available from second week of October to 31st of October. Forms are available at axis banks.

Colleges Accepting NEED Score are D. J. Academy of Design, Coimbatore, IILM School of Design, Gurgaon, National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, Wigan & Leigh College, New Delhi, Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi. The NEED score will valid for one year and it is used only at the time of admission. The written examination is followed by studio test and personal interview in NID. 100 students at under graduate level and 245 students at post graduate level are selected from all over India in NID.

Facilities like IT centre, library, labs etc are provided to the students studying in NID. For Under graduation students there is common foundation programme in NID but 17 different programmes like Product Design, Furniture & Interior Design, Transportation & Automobile Design, Ceramic & Glass Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, Animation Film Design etc are provided for the post graduation in NID.
