There are different vacancies which are released in banks from time to time in Banks for railway engineers.Right now there is alos vacancy for technical grade in railways for OBC, SC/ST candidate whose age is between 18-30 years.

your question is incomplete in the sense that railway conducts exams for different posts and the elligibility criteria differs with posts. so try to clarify your question in order to get your answer.

Jobs in railways comes out in different different cities time to time, you need to go your nearest book stall or forms outlet time to time to check the availablity of jobs. If you find than just buy a form and fill with the copy of documentations than send to a address given on your form.

There are various category comes under railway job since your engineer background you must go for technical side They publish there date of exam in Employment newspaper for RRB i.e Railway Recruitment Board you need to apply for that and you will get call from them.

You have to sit for an exam called SCRA which is held in December and forms are available in October.
