how to get seat msc computers in ou. Please tell me the details

M.Sc stands for Master of Computers. This is a 2 year Post Graduate Program being offered by many of the universities and colleges in India.

Osmania University (OU) is a popular university in Telangana state offering number of academic courses at UG and PG level.

Here is the eligibility criteria to get admission for M.Sc Computers in Osmania University

-One should have completed Graduation in B.Sc with Computer Science and Mathematics subjects.
-Candidates who did BCA course at Graduation are also eligible to join this course.
-One should score a minimum of 40% of marks in Graduation and for SC or ST candidates, just completion of Graduation is enough.

The admission would be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam called PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) of Osmania University.

This examination is for 100 marks and all are objective type questions. 90 minutes time will be given to answer these questions.

You should get the application form of Osmania University and duly fill it and submit it back in the university. You will be informed regarding the date of PGCET Exam and hall ticket would also be sent. You need to attend the exam as per the given date and time in the hall ticket.

Once the results are announced, if you are qualified in the Entrance Exam, you will be given admission for this course in Osmania University or other affiliated colleges as per your score.

You did not mention your highest level of academic qualification. If you fulfill the above mentioned criteria, you can start preparation for upcoming PGCET Exam of Osmania University.

To the best of my knowledge, MCA course is a good choice than M.Sc Computer Science. Most of the companies give preference for MCA candidates than M.Sc candidates. Even for MCA course also, each and every university conducts its own Entrance Exam.

Whatever the course you join either M.Sc or MCA, make sure that you will get the job in the campus placements itself. Otherwise it is very difficult to get job in the outside market especially in the software field.

My daughter (SC) got 920 rank in ouset & she got 60% in bsc (computer science) is there any chance to get admission in msc (com) convener quota or management seat in Ou.
