the cbse improvement exam forms are filed during the time when 12th class board exam forms are filled. at that time, you can contact your school about the cbse improvement form, and then fill it.
all the best

Central Board of Secondary Education provides a great opportunity to the candidates to improve their marks in 12th board. Those who are not satisfied with their performance in 12th board and failed to meet the marks required to appear for entrance exam of their choice can appear for the Improvement exam by the CBSE.

This is your last opportunity to improve the marks. After all 12th board marks are very important no matter whether you want to apply for the LLB, Engineering or MBBS course.

So if you haven't done well in 12th board, feel free to apply for the Improvement Exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The admission form for this exam are released in August or September. The forms are made available at the selected branches of Syndicate Bank.

Before applying for the exam please remember few things:

1. You can only apply for Improvement Exam in the succeeding year and not 2-3 years later.

2. You are allowed to appear only for subjects that you have passed.

3. You can not add any new subject that was not part of your original exam.

4. While you are free to appear for any one exam, it is recommended to appear for all 5 subjects. Otherwise you will have to carry around two different mark sheets which can be odd.

I gave 12th exam from state board and secured less marks, next year I gave the improvement exam from state board and nios exam on fresh registration and got good marks in both. Is both of them valid considering the fact that nios was a distance course???
