I want to Know that when will the Form fill of Air Force 'Y' Group.
I did NCC with 'C' Certificate on school level.
I cleared 12th with 66.15% in Commerce Maths.
Sir i want to Join air force and what i have to do for it please some detail about joining of air force 'Y' Group exam

Myself Akash-Singh, I have appeared in 12th , from ISC board . I have taken Commerce with Maths..
My result will out in June 2013, I want to know that , How I could get addmission in Air-Force?

Can any student studied commerce in college level can join as an officer in Indian Navy or Indian AirForce .............?
I have finished 'C' certificate in NCC(SD) in college level. Pls reply for my queries

If you want to join Indian Airforce after passing class 12th, You need to apply for the UPSC NDA exams:


Education:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream

Navy andAirforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths in class 12th


AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years


Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply

Selection Procedure involves:
>> Written Test
>> SSB interview


Next NDA exams will be held on 11th August 2013
Notification will come out on 4th May 2013

Indian Air Force can be joined through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam, conducted twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

You are not eligible to join Indian Air Force after clearing 12th from Commerce stream as the minimum educational qualification for IAF is from 12th Science stream.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Hi,

If a candidate wants to join Indian Defence after intermediate, then NDAis the ladder for them.

NDA- National Defence Academy

Through NDA you can join Indian Army, Navy or Air Force. This exam is conducted twice by UPSC.

The exam has these eligibilty criteria-

You should be intermediate pass- in any subjects forIndian army and with Physics and maths for Navy and army.

Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be a male candidate.

You should be unmarried.

If youfulfill all these criteria, you can apply for NDA exam.

But as you dont have Physics in intermediate, you cannot apply for Navy and Air Force.. You can apply for Army.

So,if you want to apply for Indian ARmy, then give NDAexam.

To join the Indian Air Force one has to crack the NDA exam .

The NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC

The eligibility for the NDA exam is one has to pass
12th in any stream for the army wing ,
and 12 th pass with Maths and Physics for the Airforce and Naval wing .

Since you have mentioned that you are a commerce student , though you have studied Maths but you did'nt have the Physics exam for 12 th exam .So i am very sorry to inform you that you are not elligible for the Airforce wing .

But you are surely elligible for the army wing .

NDA Stands National Defence Academy

It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

Eligibility Criteria :
The applications must have to pass 12th stands from a recognized university

Army Academy : The applicant must be complete 12th stands (OR) any equivalent from a recognized university

There is no percentage requires

Final year appearing applicants also eligible

The applicants age limit between 16.5 to 19 years

There is no upper age criteria

The applicants must be unmarried male persons

The applicants must be citizen of Indian

Sorry you can't join an officer post in Indian Air Force on the basis of 12th commerce with maths.

You must have studied 10+2 with physics and maths to apply for NDA examination which is the only way to join as an officer after 12th class.

You can apply for non officer post in Indian Air Force which is Group Y trade for which age limit is 17.5 - 21 years and selection is on the basis of written exam, physical fitness test and medical test.

So if you want a non officer post in Indian Air force then surely you can apply for it. But for officer post in Indian Air Force you have to complete graduation and then apply for Ground Duty branch of AFCAT.

You can still apply for NDA exam for joining Indian Army if you are interested in Indian Army.

The selection is purely based on the Written exam, SSB and medical examination. So be prepared for it.

for indian air force after class 12th you must have to crack nda

NDA stands for national defence academy , it is conducted by upsc twice a year

educational qualification is 12th pass from a recognised board in physics,chemistry and maths for indian navy wing and air force wing
and for indian army wing candidate from any stream is eligible

as you have stuided commerce with maths but no physics, cemistry you are not eligible for indian airforce after 12th,

rather you can apply for indian army wing

In order to join the Indian air force (IAF), you must have subjects MATHS & PHYSICS on 10+2 level. As you are a commerce student ,so you can not apply for the INDIAN AIR FORCE. But you can apply for the Indian Military Academy (IMA). Through the NDA examination, NDA stands for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY , this examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) every year for two times.
Through this NDA exam,one can apply for the -
1. INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF)
2. INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY (NA)
3. INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA).

The minimum educational requirement for this exam is a 12th degree,.
So you can appear for the NDA exam, for IMA.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.

Sorry, you cant apply for Indian Air Force as you are from Commerce Stream.

To join Air Force you have to apply for NDA exam that is conducted by UPSC. For NDA you should have completed 12th with subjects like Physics and Mathematics.
You also cant apply for Indian Navy through NDA.

You can only apply for Indian Army Wing. For Indian Army you need 12th in any stream.

for NDA your age should be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply.
