Re: How to join IAS after passing intermediate with MPC
hi,
in order to apply for ias you need to be a graduate in any stream. so i would suggest you to choose a stream of your interest for graduation, after you complete your intermediate. civil service exam lays a great emphasis on general studies, and it has very vast boundaries, so you should, keeping your goal in mind, keep trying to be in touch with various subjects. it doesn't require any specialization in any subject, but a general knowledge that every well educated person should have. you should also improve your english and communication. you can start preparation for optional subjects, that are to be choosen for main examination of CSE, in last year of your graduation, so don't worry about them right now. wish you luck. |

You need to complete graduation in order to join to IAS. You can select any of the interested streams in graduation. After completing degree, you can apply for IAS prelims exam (CSAT) through the web portal of UPSC. Qualified candidates in prelims exam should attend mains exam and interview for get selected to IAS. Mental ability, Indian History, constitution, English Language, General Studies, Geography, etc are the topics included for IAS selection test.

Re: How to join IAS after passing intermediate with MPC
There are not any option to join IAS after passing Intermediate. The minimum qualification to apply for the IAS exam is graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Even, the students who in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the exam. But,it is not possible to apply for this exam after 12th.
One who wishes to join as IAS officer has to clear the civil services exam conducted by the UPSC.The exam procedure is divided into three stages, namely, *Civil Services Aptitude Test(CSAT) *Civil Services Main Examination *Personality Interview. The age limit to apply for the exam is from 21 years to 30 years for general category candidates and age is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidate and 5years for SC/ST candidates. |

Re: How to join IAS after passing intermediate with MPC
You can not join IAS after completing intermediate. You need to complete the graduation to join IAS.
IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year. So you can complete the graduation then you can eligible to become IAS. |
