Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th with 68?
It is not possible for any one to join Indian Air Force with only matriculation certificate or after passing 10th .
But, it is possible after only after 12th. NDA is the door for students who wishes to make their career in defence related jobs. UPSC conducts examination twice a year at 12th level which provides opportunity to join NDA (National Defence Academy). To join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy or Naval Academy ,Indian Military, one need to clear the written examination of NDA then have to appear for SSB interview. Only after qualifying both the stages ,students can join Defence related jobs. It is also possible to join Indian Air Force after graduation or Post-graduation. CDS conducted by UPSC provides chance to join after graduation . AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) also provide the opportunity for candidates to join Indian Air Force. |

Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th with 68?
Hello Amin,
Its nice to see that you want to serve your nation by joining the Defense services via Indian Air Force but unfortunately as per your academic qualifications, you cannot join the Indian Air Force. The UPSC [Union Public Service Commission] provides the earliest way to join the various wings of Indian Defense via the National Defense Acadmey Examination. The wings that you can join by qualifying the NDA Exam are : >> Indian Army >> Indian Navy >> Indian Air Force The Eligibilty criteria, required to be fulfilled by the candidates willing to appear in trhe NDA Exam are listed below : >> You must have passed Senior Secondary Level Examination [12th] with PCM as mandatory subjects from any recognized board. >> You must be a candidate lying in the age group of 16.5-19 years. >> No Relaxation in age is granted to any candidate. >> You must be a citizen of India. >> You must be unmarried. So, passing class Xth with 68% marks is not enough to set yourself eligible for the NDA Exam to join the Indian Air Force. This is the information I have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
